Ah the religious shame of it all. Sham as well! For how many years, decades, did I believe that MY GOD was the only God. And who was MY God? He was the Baptist, Protestant, God of my teachers of course. God was not the God of the Catholics, the Jews, and for sure not the God of the Muslims. How did I KNOW that? Tell me how do you KNOW that YOUR GOD is in fact “the God” of the entire universe?
Let me get directly to the point. In these commentaries there’s no need for a lot of narrative. Let me address the Western American God which applies to all the “other cultural gods” of so many nations and societies.
1-The truth of diety has not been given only to us in the West
2-We do not have the only truths that cannot be questioned.
3-We are not the only recipients of the divine revelations.
4-We’re not the sole interpreters of divine truths.
5-Salvation isn’t just for the West.
6-Designated church leaders (fill in the blanks) do not possess infallibility.
In other words, you, we cannot put God in a box and He doesn’t belong to US.
WE belong to HIM! 
A “YES” and an “AMEN” on the 6 statements listed above.
#1-A portion of truth is no better than a lie if not willing to connect with others!
#2-”Have You Heard The Good News?” The church cannot and will not answer the hard questions. The GOOD NEWS answers ALL the hard questions.
