Unfortunately, we have managed to add God to the category wherein we find genies, psychic, the tooth fairy, and Santa Claus. Let me save you a lot of grief and disappointment and lay a serious statement at your religious door. NO ONE can influence God! But, it’s paramount that you allow God to influence YOU!
God is not your personal valet!
You can pray til the cows come home, but unless what you are asking lines up with what God wants for your life, it’s simply not going to happen- in the spiritual realm.
Granted, the mental powers of the mind are great and you can make a thing happen! We do that every day. We live in a world of mental laws and physical laws. We are also live in a spiritual world and only spiritual laws work in that world.
So, if you’re needing something, take it to God and see if He agrees, otherwise you’re wasting a lot of time and you’ll wind up greatly discouraged, if not angry at God.
Oh yes, and His plans for your life are much better than your plans. Believe me, I know!
