May you seek the Lord in 2007 like never before because HIS spiritual advice is never wrong!
Having said that, without some “human accountability” all spiritual advice is suspect. ![]()

Seriously, blessing upon you and may 2007 be truly a NEW EXPERIENCE!
My prayer for you this year is that you become connected and one with Him who has created us in ways that you never thought possible. Break out of the old archaic religious paradigms! We are ONE and we are all JOINED to the One who created us. And yet, we live in times that are challenging all that we’ve been taught. How so? Continue reading ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR!’
We can so easily say Happy New Year and it is as hollow as a termites tree. Does such an expression mean anything, really say anything significant or meaninful? Well, let me express my greetings to you as e enter this New Year, 2007. And here’s what I “mean” when I say Happy New Year. Continue reading ‘Happy New Year- And………….’
“It is the customary fate of new truth to begin as heresies.” Thomas Huxley
We know this, we acknowledge the reality of Huxley’s statement, but our ego cannot help but fight the facts because such statements challenge the existence of our ego. The ego knows what it knows and what it doesn’t know it must deny or challenge the validity of that which is spoken against it. Why? Continue reading ‘Ego Damage Control’
And for grins and maybe a smile or two, unless you’re too terribly religious, and at which point I must ask what are you doing reading this site?
Let me give you my TOP FIVE reasons why BEER Is Better Than RELIGION! Continue reading ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR!’
Very few would disagree that church is not a building, but that doesn’t change our saying that we’re going to church; meaning a building. It’s a subtle thought- a cunning thought, and just enough untruth to leaven the whole lump.. Us! Since we acknowledge with our heads that church is not a building, what is church then anyway?
Is church a weekly journey a family makes to hear a 20-60 minute teaching (depending upon if you are Catholic or Charismatic). Or? Continue reading ‘What Is Church?’
In line with yesterday’s post, Rick Spencer is one of those people that I and the LRC family are proud to “network” with be more inclusive than exclusive. I doubt that there will ever be two people who totally agree on all doctrine and theology, but we can agree on the fact that Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God, and the 2nd person of the trinity is who we follow. Here’s a bio on Rick & Cindy and how they are working with us. Continue reading ‘Welcome Rick & Cindy Spencer’
Modern Day Indulgences
Johann Tetzel is no longer alive to sell indulgences; however, the spirit behind what he merchandized is still very much alive in the church today. So, as I write my last commentary for 2006 (on this web site at least), it is my prayer that I at least will be cognizant of any attempts by my false self to enegage in the sale of any modern day indulgences: otherwise know as FEAR! Behind the Catholic phrase, “As soon as the coin in the coffer RINGS, out from purgatory a soul SPRINGS,” was the FEAR of a loved one lost forever. Sadly, much of the church still merchandizes FEAR. Let me explain. Continue reading ‘Modern Day Indulgences’
