Images Of God

Mine has changed- radically!

It’s an understatement to say that our image of God, or lack thereof, determines our life. Even if you believe there is no God, and you were and are an accident, “that” mentality itself is determining the quality of your life. The Old Testament view of God has royally screwed up a lot of people. And much of the church has continued that paradigm even though Jesus came to correct the record. So where are you regarding your view of God? Continue reading ‘Images Of God’

Spiritual Searchers Soar

Some words scare the hell out of certain Christian groups, which is always a good thing, isn’t it? :-)

George Barna sounded the trumpet in his book Revolution. Most Christian leaders took issue with it; however, it waas only in the conclusions drawn. One cannot argue the facts that church attendance in Europe and Amerca is falling like a rock. Adding insult to injury was the statement that the world was looking for “spirituality” at a time the church wasn’t. Ouch! Continue reading ‘Spiritual Searchers Soar’

They Are Our Responsibility

I learned a lot of bad things from Napoleon Hill and yet I learned some very important life principles from him as well. Obviously his book. Think And Grow Rich was accented towards money, wealth, and success. Ths stuff works. It’s much like the book, The Secret which peddles the “law of attraction“. I have a clue for you though. The law of attraction is no secret. And, it works! I worked and followed all those principles and by age 27, I was a millionaire!

If you’re a negative person, you’ll attract those kinds of people and what’s worse, your life will be one huge pile of crap. If you’re filled with lust, it won’t take you long to find a partner- thousands of them. If you’re poor, you’ll attract others with a poverty mentality. It’s called, “misery loves company“. But, here’s a potentially important question. What’s God want? Continue reading ‘They Are Our Responsibility’

And-Also, Not Either Or

The problem is not the structure, nor the form. The problem is what’s in the heart of the people! Ralph Neighbor wrote in his book (Where Do We Go From here), “I am convinced that the church worldwide is being slowly replaced by an act of God. Developments taking place today are as powerful as the upheavel in 1517 with Martin Luther.” I seriously doubt that! Continue reading ‘And-Also, Not Either Or’

Find A Family

The Scriptures tels us that God places people in families. He especially puts the lonely, the solitary in families (Psalms 68:6). And since our world is so full of lonely and depressed people you must conclude that people are refusing the comforts of a family: and the problems that come with all that. The Salvistic Intent & Journey

When I “walked the isle” some four decades ago I was pretty sure I knew what I was doing. And it was a no-brainer as well. I was making sure I would have to go to hell. I was getting a guarantee life membership in heaven. And once I signed up, it was all over. Once saved, always saved. How could anyone pass up that deal? Continue reading ‘The Salvistic Intent & Journey’

Hidden & Secret Riches

February 23, 2007 – Unfortunately, the leadership of too many churches and denominations have become tainted with the “lures of the world” and they have us all in pursuit of the material. What we need is an awakening to the just how rich and exciting the birthright to many spiritual gifts that await us are.

Savants & Avatars

They are among us and we aren’t alone!

Regardless of how strongly much of the religious & scientific communities try to deny supernatural power (and they do), the facts speak for themselves. Science wants to be able to see an action repeated over and over again, knowing what the outcome is and can be predicted. Religion wants everything so fuzzy- except when it comes to their rationalization for what they believe. But guess what! Continue reading ‘Savants & Avatars’

The Egoic Operating System

Unlike Microsoft, the egoic operating system doesn’t need to be updated every few years with a dozen patches in between. That which was developed and made operational in the garden (Eden not Silicon Valley) is still running smoothly today. At the core of our ego is a binary software program that is about as efficient as any system or program can be. All it needs is the hardware of our minds and it runs flawlessly. And it doesn’t matter what language or culture the hardware comes from because it’s compatible with everyone. Here is how it works. Continue reading ‘The Egoic Operating System’

Of Divine Origin!

I doubt if a majority of the people will agree with what I’m about to write. But, there is a large minority who camp around this fire; and the fire is growing. But, who cares what % is for or against any issue? We all believe what it is we believe, and as Christians (hello!), we should love people regardless of their beliefs- though we don’t. Enough of that blather. Here’s what I want to share. Continue reading ‘Of Divine Origin!’
