Ah the religious shame of it all. Sham as well! For how many years, decades, did I believe that MY GOD was the only God. And who was MY God? There are times when you plan for an event. The planning may have been right on, or you could have missed a few things. The event happens regardless of how well planned though. It was in front of you, you had your eyes on it, and on such and such date it happened.
Then there are things like the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989. While that was a momemtuous date, no one said, “Aha, we have entered the post-modern era“. Now, many, not all, look back and use that date as the start time for the now labelled, “post-modern era”. Some things are not fully seen until years later, maybe decades. February 9, 2007 – We are spirit beings seemingly trapped in a material world and yet, the man who changed the world, Jesus Christ, came to tell us that we can be FREE. In order to do that, we must escape much of our religious indoctrinations which cannot hold, much less understand, our spirit man.
Several times in the New Testament we’re told of how our minds have been blinded and how there are scales on our eyes, “seeing we see not”. How does that work anyway? In part it works because everyone is fighting everyone. Pertinent to this site is the battle between home churches and institutional churches. God Is Beyond Your Logic!
God is beyond everything and yet He’s within all as well though I am not intending to sound like a pantheist, because I’m not one. I don’t know to what degree I even believe in panentheism; however, it’s alot more than pantheism. So much for the philosophical stuff. What I intend to convey with this commentary is that I’ve broken out of the paradigm wherein I NEED to define God. Why the hell did I think I ever could to start with?
