So what’s this delving into the life of one Walter Starcke for five days to have said to us? If you don’t know, I’m doubtful this fifth installment will help. But, we can hope nonetheless! Who are you following? WHO ARE YOU? Tonight, I will explain or show those who attend our Friday night service, some insights as to who I AM (both the microcosm and macrocosm of the concept). Continue reading ‘A Final Wrap- Part 5′

I know that there are many, many people who are not aware or don’t believe that they were placed here on this planet to accomplish some task(s) or mission. Others have just grown weary of the battles and could care less about any mission, even if they knew what it was. Then there are those that desperately want to hear “Well done my good and faithful servant“, if they could just figure out what the “well done” was in reference to, or what the end game was. I think those that feel they know what their destiny here on earth is all about, at an early age, are truly blessed. Of course that assumes that they are also pursuing that calling. But, let me share a few thoughts in this area. Continue reading ‘Are You There Yet?’
This is the next to last wrap on an individual I started reading two weeks ago, and got to personally meet last Saturday. I decided to write about this man (Walter Starcke) because there needs to be some models out there for those of us who call ourselves Christians, mystics, and- or just lovers of Jesus. In other words, where’s the beef? Show me the money. And, is there any substance to the theory? Continue reading ‘Words Without A Witness- Part 4′
There’s so much about the Bible, about our spiritual journey that makes no sense. The I AM of Exodus 3:14 alongside the I AM of John 8:58 which when put in context is such bad english that there must be something more there than a grammatical mistake. But, I think I’m finally getting a glimpse of it. And as a result I have put down trying to defend why I AM not perfert. You probably already know dozens of reasons whay I don’t fulfill Matthew 5:48. But, here’s where I AM. Continue reading ‘I AM That I AM!’
In the last decade there have been two people that I have personally met, that have impacted my life greatly. I’m a reader of authors and I’ve been blessed to have been able to meet many of them. There are some awesome people out there. It’s just so sad that most of the world does not venture out to engage them. In a class above the masses, above the higher echelons, above those at the top of the food chain are these two people. Continue reading ‘Walter Starcke Part # 3′
I have heard a verse at least 5-6 times in the past 2-3 days. Usually when that happens, it’s because the Spirit is speaking to me, through others. Hearing is step one, and then deciding what to do with the information is the next step- a critical one. The verse is one that the church seldom talks about because the church is more into NOUNS than VERBS. Here’s what I mean. Continue reading ‘Let’s Get On With It!’
Depending upon where you are, particularly age wise, your answers will vary. But, how about an answer such as this. I want to be healthy and life a life of health until I am 100! I want to enjoy life, have no bills, be debt free, and have financial abundance. I want to have the freedom to travel anywhere in the world or stay at home for a week and work with a flower bed, or just meditate. I want to have friends all over the world and rich relationships that span decades. Would any of the above interest you, or be anywhere close to your definition of success or a good life? Continue reading ‘What’s Your Goal In Life? (Starcke #2)’
This is the first of several commentaries! (that might run all week).
I’m going to tell a story of a brief encounter that Lyn and I had Saturday evening in San Antonio. We had one of those memorable moments when the curtain is drawn and you get introduced to things you can’t believe you’re hearing; however, your spirit man knows you’re hearing truth. After the evening has passed so quickly, you only wished you had taped the evening’s conversation, but that would have altered much of what was happening I’m sure. It will take a long time to properly unpackage and know what was imparted, but let me give you a couple of ideas. Continue reading ‘A Rare Individual- Walter Starcke’
Paul Williams and Roger Nichols wrote the song title above, and the Carpenters made it a success. I kept hearing it over and over again Sunday as I drove back from the Hill Country. The song has phrases such as, “So many roads to choose. We start our walking and learn to run.” I think running isn’t that far off friends! Then there are these two phrases, “Watching the signs along the way“, and “So much of life ahead, we’ll find a place where there’s room to grow.” We have been launched and wherever we’re headed, it’s only just begun. Continue reading ‘We’ve Only Just Begun!’

The Water Level Is Rising
I am writing, typing, as I move with whatever is within- for this post. It’s that way always. We can’t give what we are not- though many pretrend to do it. But, what I’m talking about is when you start talking-typing from the overflow of that which we ARE and not that which we THINK IS. You don’t don’t KNOW where you are going because there is no going, just BEING and allowing Him to BE. And the Spirit speaks a language that those who so want, can read, and understand.
