Killer Conversations!

When’s the last time that you had a killer conversation? How many such conversations do you have on a daily basis? Before you can answer those two questions you need to have an understanding of just what kind of “conversations” I am talking. I’m referring to the inner conversations that you have with yourself, not those you have with others around you. Continue reading ‘Killer Conversations!’

Say So!

What is it that you desire? I’m not talking about what you’d like, what you WISH you had, or what’s good for you but of no benefit to anyone else. I’m talking about Kingdom living. The writer of the book of Job makes it seem so simple- “DECREE a thing and it shall be ESTABLISHED” (Job 22:28). And the light shall shine on your ways. Continue reading ‘Say So!’

The Garden Of Eden

A Hab. 2:2 vision for LRC going forward. Not just writing down the vision so people can run with it, but giving them the Biblical principles from which to operate as well: more than calling that which is not as though it were.

Romans 4:17

Christians are good at confessing and not so good at accomplishing. Many Christians are familiar with Romans 4:17 and many repeat the words quite frequently. In it’s simplicity, the verse says that we are to CALL that which IS NOT as though IT WERE! How great, how glorious, how impossible! It’s impossible because to JUST DO IT (as Nike would say) would be to stray into new age, superstitious paradigms (according to fundamentalist thinking). Continue reading ‘Romans 4:17′

Christian Lite

There’s nothing wrong or immoral about being a nominal Christian, an earthly Christian, or an orthodox Christian. I call all of those Christian Lite. The Bible was written in Eastern mythological and metaphorical language. To try and make the Bible a literal historical record of events is to miss the esoteric messages which transform life! Continue reading ‘Christian Lite’

I Am (is) God

If one doesn’t use ancient King James religious language, some Christians will label you a heretic or maybe a member of a cult organization. The religious definition of a cult is anyone who has ideas that don’t agree with yours. Thus, the world is full of cults. But, I digress. God has a NAME and it’s not God, it’s I AM! Continue reading ‘I Am (is) God’

Claiming Not Begging!

I’ve gone from please to thank you! I feel better and I’m more confident about my prayer life because I’m seeing more results. THANK YOU is a prayer of affirmation, a response of gratitude, and a sense of “it is finished”. Too many prayers are steeped in doubt, uncertaintiy, and disbelief- more a flavor of begging than claiming. Continue reading ‘Claiming Not Begging!’

BE The Prayer!

Too many unanswered prayers. Too many people praying to a God that does not exist, to a concept not real, or a consciousness not fully embraced. We can’t take a break in our daily demeanor or doubt and fear and pray for faith for something, return to the state of mind before we began paying, and hope to see any successful conclusion to the prayer. Continue reading ‘BE The Prayer!’

Metaphorical Meanings

My little e-book entitled Literal Lunacy is what Leviticus 14 becomes for those that say the Bible is the LITERAL, INERRANT words of God! The Eastern mindset that wrote the book had something entirely different in mind. Let me give you the symbolic and metaphorical meaning that I glean from it. Continue reading ‘Metaphorical Meanings’
