The Hebrews 11 verse says it all and yet it is seldom understood. And when one does grasp the reality, it’s most often called “new age”. Remember that verse, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” It’s the first part of the trinity which goes along with, “Calling that which is not as though it were” along with “That which is not seen is all that’s real”. The promsies of God are through GRACE and not through LAW- and they are UNSEEN until we call them into our vision. The I AM that WE ARE is the creative force within us all.
Ecclesiastes 3:15 is one of those most powerful verses that’s so spiritual in nature that we miss it. The world gets it- or at least Eckhart Tolle does. The verse says, “That which was IS NOW and that which has yet to be, already IS.” In other words the world is lived in the NOW. And therein is a key for how we should PRAY! Come on in folks and take a seat. The how is about to begin. You won’t be disappointed because there is a story to tell that defies all logic (tongue in cheek). And it’s hard to find one that doesn’t make such a claim! Can they all be wrong? Can only ONE be right? Continue reading ‘Irrational Religion!’
Ezekiel mentions several times that God is going to give us a new heart and along with that new heart, comes a new spirit. In light of what we know today about the heart, how can we translate the 2,500 year old words and vocabulary into 21st century concepts?
It’s just a part of our errant thinking that prompts us to want to divide people, live in a dualistic world, and promote ego over spirit. It’s clear from Matthew 13 that God wants the wheat and the weeds to grow together. We learn from each other, and we’re both created by the same Source. Cool it! Internal Conversations
The mind just blathers on about nothing, about everything, and most often about combative or potentially dangeous things. The ego must always be prepared you know. What’s so self destructive is our lack of awareness of how powerful the subconscious mind is, and the incredible damage that the seemingly unimporant thoughts that we have can do to our lives.
