The church has become too bogged down in rules and creeds and has little time for the more weightier things like the reality of life and how to live it. All creation groans!

We can’t go where there are not words to take us. Neither can we understand what’s near impossible to articulate without the use of metaphors. History has been kept alive through various metaphors. The Old Testament is full of metaphors, which were historized in the Biblical canons. Too many of our current metaphors no longer work. We’re in desperate need of new and more modern metaphors.
