The world is literally (pun intended) built on metaphors (allegories, similes, parables, and other figures of speech). Metaphors go beyond facts into truth and carry an IMAGE that’s powerful! One such image is the parting or tearing of the veil as found in Matthew 27:51 for one. Was there such a physical act? At the Democratic Convention Monday night Nancy Pelosi urged the Hillary backers to not fall into the victim mentality. Say what? From my perspective, the Democratic party has been one of the biggest purveyors of the victim mentality with all of their welfare programs and more than equal rights issues. Atonement is a very strange concept that the Christian community is divided over and often times bitterly so. The simplistic definition is that at-one-moment there was a reconciliation to God. But who was included in that atoning process? Was all of mankind, cration in general, or just your denomination- just Christians? Muslims want to know. Jews, Hindus, and others are interested. I don’t embrace an eternal hell for the same reason that many uphold it. Isn’t that the way many things in the Bible can be posited? Almost everyone I know believes in a hell, among other reasons, because God is JUST! God is inded JUST and for that reason ther can be no eternal hell, which is the epitome of UNJUSTICE. When you pray (you do don’t you?), to whom are you praying? What name have you given to that entity, being to whom you’re speaking? Most Westerners pray to God, Easterners pray to Allah, Buddha, and theren there are those around the globe praying to such as Consciousness, Creater, Divine Being, Ultimate Source, Light, Fourth Dimension, or I Am. The Promise Of Victory
I’ve been working on my dreams, you know, trying to make sense out of them. Why do I dream the things I do.
