We have fallen prey to so much dualism that even when we’re in the forest we can’t locate any trees. Various religions, and their adherents, are so in love with their God (the one they have created in their imaginations) that they’ll kill anyone else who doesn’t agree with their God. If we could only grasp the power that comes with knowing we have the ability to talk every day with the Creator of the universe, and that if we’re faithful to what we hear, our life will be transformed for the better.

From neighboring Texas, Walter Starcke professes the title of one of his books, The Double Thread. Everyone has some degree of rejection going on in their life. Some suffer from so much rejection that they need to be institutionalized- and are. Some suffer from rejection and don’t know it. That they don’t have any long term relationships just doesn’t seem to sink in as having been caused by their rejecting others before they think they’ll be rejected. A good attorney will find a way to insert a mental picture into a trial that he knows is emotionally powerful, but one that’s not legal. Of course the opposing counsel will OBJECT! Being co-creators with God means that we have to exercise our will, do our part and call things which aren’t as though they were. And then we leave it in the hands of God and watch His grace manifest.
The goal is to come at the written Word (Bible, Scriptures) in a way that you’re not just reading words, but feeling, sensing, and being transformed by them.
