I see God, the creator of the universe, the final authority of the trinity, and the life wherein I move and have my being as “Father-Consciousness“. God for me must be both personal and impersonal. Can you hold the tension, the parado? It’s not easy at first, but give it a honest shot. The Jesus consciousness attained Father Consciousness. Let me explain. God has so many names around the world and even in Christianity. How would we ever think we could give God one name, but then what NAME (which determines nature) have you give God, most often used for the One who created you?
For way too many Christians, God is nothing more than symbol of goodness. A good father. Father who knows best. Get really spiritual and God is a super human Dad who can whip every other dad in the galay. Get real pollyanna and he’s a grandfather. Always giving gifts, but visiting only occasionally. What a shame to see God only as a symbol of goodness. Continue reading ‘Symbol Of Goodness’
When I switched from the ancient paradigm of BC-AD to BCE-CE, I got a lot of flack and frowns. Of course I only got it from the religious community. BCE (Before Common Era) makes so much sense to me and in no way changes, demeans, devalues, or takes away the historical and eternal impact of Jesus, who became the Christ! But, let’s look at it from another angle. Continue reading ‘There Is No BC!’
Golden calves everywhere you turn. Think it not strange that we are ONE with our idea of God. So many religions- so many ideas about God. So many different Christian denominations (30,000+). I’ve only been a member of one denomination and that was for the first twenty six years of my spiritual journey. The last twenty eight years have been in the creation of a totally different God. Continue reading ‘Man Made God!’
The philosopher has said, God created man in his image and man has returned the favor. God is whomever we have made him and so one should think it not strange that man has also created heaven in his (man’s) image. That which has to be spiritual, the religious has totally materialized into our own fancy and fallacies. Continue reading ‘Man Made Heaven’
The mystical gospel of John starts off the first chapter (v. 14) informing us that the Word was made flesh. But why have we limited this only to Jesus, as most denominations do? We are the WORD made FLESH as well. Father-Consciousness spoke every WORD. Father-Consciousness said LET THERE BE and every WORD spoken thus became, and IS, and ever shall BE. Once you accept the eternality of you, I, and we’all (Texan for us), life forever changes! Continue reading ‘The Word Was Made Flesh!’
I know one will probably do a double-take on that title. Doesn’t Jesus have to come before Christ? Only if you are religious, yes. Christ was not Jesus’s last name. Christ was who-what Jesus became and that’s what you, I, and all of us are to become. Ernie, the Christ. You, the Christ. The mission of Jesus was to become the Christ and therefore show you and I the way! Continue reading ‘Christ Saved Jesus!’
Has the paint dried on your canvass of life? If so, everything else will dry up as well. The Spirit must be alive and ever flowing-pulsating though our life creating a new you every day- because God is new every day!

Raising My Hand
There I sat, a member of my church in very good standing. I was a close friend of the pastor. My wife and I were department heads over four Sunday school classes. We were involved in everything and my denomination worked us! But msot of all I was MORE than a TITHER! And then out of the blue it happened. I couldn’t help it. It was an involuntary response. I raised my hands during a song. Continue reading ‘Raising My Hand’
