Letting Go of Limiting Beliefs

Who? Who is this Yeshua, this Isa guy that Rick Warren signed off his inaugural prayer with Tuesday? Jesus is who we’re following not some guy named Isa! Ah, the limiting belief systems that we embrace that hold us back from being who we ARE. Until we increase our consciousness and move out of the religious molds that have been built for us to inhabit, we’ll never see the Kingdom- here on earth! Continue reading ‘Letting Go of Limiting Beliefs’

Imploding Christianity

Bear with me as a take a cosmological event and compare it to the “radioactive Christianity” of today- those who want to pull back 2,000+ years ago and retreat into dead theology. I call it IMPLODING CHRISTIANITY because it is very similar to what happens to the death stars. Either the star explodes or it implodes. Let me deal only with the latter for that’s where I see the best comparison for today. Continue reading ‘Imploding Christianity’

Kingdom Procrastination

Much of religious thinking has been and is very much like the prodigal son. We look forward to getting out, getting away, reaching the after life benefits; however, when we leave home, looking for that which already IS, we miss the existent realities. The Kingdom IS NOW. Heaven isn’t some later destination. We are ALL IMMORTAL NOW. Continue reading ‘Kingdom Procrastination’

Synonyms For God

One of the most revelatory discoveries of life is that day that one comes into the realization that God will be to us whatever we want Him to be. It’s shocking because it is so simple. Yet it is so complex because we all have this egoic button that continues to get pushed wherein we want God in a box and we want others to be in that same box with us. Continue reading ‘Synonyms For God’

The Guiding Light

We all have both conscious and subconscious interpretations and descriptions of who God is, what the right interpretation of the Bible might be, etc. So, what is guiding you in coming to the conclusions that you have- about the Bible and God?

Interpreting The Bible

People who live in the southern part of the United States for all of their life have more difficulty than others in understanding that literalism-fundamentalism are NEW concepts- unfortunately. Literalism is basically the answer from the church to the Renaissance period and fundamentalism was birthed in 1909. Continue reading ‘Interpreting The Bible’

Far More Than Morality!

I can only guess what was in the original manuscripts of the many authors that found their works in what’s known as the Christian Bible- before Constantine took out everything he didn’t want in it (at Nicea in 325CE). And I also have to wonder what Christianity would have looked like if the focus had been only on Jesus and not primarily Paul’s (and others) interpretations. Continue reading ‘Far More Than Morality!’

Levels Of Consciousness

The word “consciousness” is both embraced and shunned. It’s no wonder since the word is used to denote so many things that simply have no finite meaning. Is consciousness spirit? I use those two words interchangeably on many occasions where I feel a religious spirit lives. Fishing in the natural is done with a bait appropriate for the intended fish to be caught. Continue reading ‘Levels Of Consciousness’

False Religion (ists) Divides

Foundationally at its core, religion means to UNITE! Can I get an amen? The problem comes when each denomination or sect decides that “their” ideas about God and religion is what one has to UNITE TO! The fact that there are over 30,000 Christian denominations alone is testament to many FALSE RELIGIONS! Unfortunately, from the perspective of the world’s religions Christianity is the most divisive, exclusive, and imperialistic. It’s their way or the highway (meaning HELL). Continue reading ‘False Religion (ists) Divides’

Religious Victimization

Proof of the miraculous story of Jesus, who became the Christos, can be found in the way that his story has overcome emperors, religious leaders, false doctrine, and lack of original manuscripts. But the Spirit can always remain unshackled by mans doctrines. Original sin and modified grace? I don’t think so. Continue reading ‘Religious Victimization’
