We are ALL the creation and thus the children, off-spring of God, the Creator-Consciousness-Being and whatever other partial name you think of giving Him. No one name or thousands of names can confine nor contain the totality of the description of the Infinite Creator. But we try. There are messages for the spiritually minded coming from the scientific community if we will but open up our thinking to “first the natural and then the spiritual” as I Cor. 15:46 reminds us.
Jesus discovered it, the Bible affirms it, and I have experienced it. The more RELIGIOUS a person becomes, the greater the chances are that they become more INTOLERANT. And it doesn’t stop there. They also become rigid in their doctrine, inflexible in their methods, and not teachable to anything that does not agree with their established doctrines. I know. I once lived that lifestyle. There is simply no way that one can embrace the God-Father that Jesus spoke of and then BELIEVE that if one doesn’t do “such-n-such” they’re going to spend eternity in hell. Good News- Not Bad News!
No I don’t believe in the concept of original sin. Nor do I believe in the immaculate conception, the virgin birth, nor the annunciation. Thus, many would say I am a heretic, un-saved, going to hell, certainly not a Christian, and a host of additional adjectives that young minds should not have to read. But I am a follower of Jesus, who became the Christos. And it is my purpose in life to come into the Christos consciousness as well. So what does one do with all of that?!
