How the New Testament was formulated and decided upon is little known by most Christians. Most think that either God sent a message through a prophet or else some ecumenical council determined that 27 books. Neither is the truth. The Bible was decided by the “last group standing” and there is yet to be an unanimous agreement, though tradition gives us the current 27 books. Continue reading ‘Gnostic Remnants’
Jesus didn’t come some 2,000 years ago to announce that everyone who wasn’t what’s become popularly known as a “Christian” would spend eternity in hell. The arrogance of many Christian to parlay John 14:6 (I am the way, the truth and the light and no one comes to the Father than through me) has cost millions of people their physical lives through Crusades, Inquisitions, and the like. Is this the real Christian gospel? Tell me how killing is CHRISTIAN! Continue reading ‘The Universality Of Christ’
It used to bother me when I was called a heretic, a spiritual mad man, a cult leader, and the worst of all names, a NEW AGER! So many people get hooked on the “appearances” of Christianity because the Church has focused primarily on the teachings of Paul, who never knew Jesus, instead of going to the source: the teachings of Jesus. The Wachowski brothers (Andy and Larry) were born to a Polish-American family in Chicago and they set imaginations soaring with their Matrix trilogy! The brothers admit to a love for telling multipart stories saying, “Because we grew up on comic books and the Tolkien trilogy, one of the things we’re interested in is bringing serial fiction to cinema,” (Larry explains). Andy puts his desire to shake up viewers a bit more bluntly: “We think movies are fairly boring and predictable. We want to screw with audiences’ expectations. Have they ever! Defamation of character is often used to describe accusations of slander, libel or both. Slander involves verbal derogatory statements, while libel involves written ones. It is a legal concept that is notoriously difficult to prove in court, although the actual effects can be quite evident and damaging. However, proving defamation of character against the ONE God of the universe, is even more tricky. So, let me just make my case and leave it outside of the courts.

For much of my life I had God as this “super being” somewhere in the sky. Is there any wonder then that I felt SEPERATED? He was there (somewhere) and I was here (some where else). Never mind that placing Him (of course God’s a male) THERE (any specific PLACE) meant that God wasn’t omnipresent. If he was in one location He couldn’t be in another (that’s who I was told the Devil was). Ah, those were the days of being a, “non-thinking” Christian. Exoteric Religious Beliefs
Not all major religions introduce the concept of God, nor monotheism. Buddhism has no concept of God and of course Hinduism literally has thousands of gods. But all major EXOTERIC religions (looking at the externals) embrace a trinity of conceptual beliefs that the ESOTERIC (the mystical WITHIN-ness) crowd does not.
