How do we know that there is a God? Could the answer perhaps be because we ARE? Are we not the sons and daughters of the Divine? Are we not the light of the LIGHT, the waves of the ocean, the various signatures of God?
Every major religion has their more esoteric, Kingdom within, segments. They seem to always be in the minority; however, having been a member of each camp, I think I’ll stick with the mystics and let the external oriented believers have their own party. Instead of focusing on the GOOD NEWS, there are too many sects within all religions that are looking to weed out the unfaithful, convert the deceived, and shame or shun those with contrary views to fundamentalism, inerrancy, and what not. Listen and read closely now so that you don’t hear what I am not saying. I accept the four Gospels as they are part of the canon of the Christian community to which I belong; however, when I read the Gospel of Thomas (was Thomas the twin of Jesus?) and the 114 supposed SAYINGS of Jesus, I get the “feel and sense” that this is more like the Jesus I KNOW, than the four canonized Gospels.
