A Baseball Metaphor

Hard core or “fundamentalist religionists” simply don’t want to buy in to anything resembling a “co-creational” paradigm. Made In The Bible Belt!

The last time I was in Orlando at a Disney store, I found the same thing that I’ve noticed in all the Wal-Mart stores. Everything is made somewhere else. Made in China is the most popular garment tag. Made in Taiwan is the most popular electronic toy or gadget. And, then there are those made in Mexico for handbags and flip-flops. Evolutionary Ethics

The threat of hell never was very efficient. Looking at the last 2,000 years, one can see that the encouragement of a heaven if one were good and the threat of hell if one was bad didn’t keep people from being bad or evil. But, in today’s increased consciousness, the “hell threat” is pretty much lost whatever power it might have had: even confession(s) is a waning principle among Catholics. The Divine Blueprint

I AM, Jesus IS, and of course God is the original and pure LIGHT. Eastern religions go even deeper than the brief mentions of the Bible that we are ALL children of LIGHT. Most Eastern religions (which coincidently Judaism is) grant that “living light” (our LRC theme for 2009) is encoded in our form. God Is Dead!

Friedrich Nietzsche is notable for having declared that God is dead and for having written several of his works in the presumption that man must find a new mode of being given the demise of God. We seldom hear of that last preoccupation that drove Nietzsche. This brilliant German philosopher was a man ahead of his time. Why do I say that? Popular Religions “Straw God”

Where did we get the concept of a “straw man“? One folk story says that it originated with men who stood outside of courthouses with a straw in their shoe in order to indicate their willingness to be a false witness. Ignorance Of Religion

The FEAR of something being TRUE that’s not found in a sacred book, be it the Bible, Koran, or Torah, is seemingly out of character for their founders. Jesus as an example was a SUBVERSIVE TEACHER.
