Comparative Religions

Most major religions have embedded within them three camps. The radical fundamentalist camp believes only their VIEW of their religion is right and all others are wrong. The second camp is less dogmatic but won’t stray far from the farm, while the last camp shares their religion while wishing well to others. Continue reading ‘Comparative Religions’

Rancid Religious Rites

I’ll let you look up the definition of RANCID in the event you’re not sure. Religious rites in and of themselves are beneficial, if like all other thing, they are used properly. There are no problems with the Bible as I see it; however, there are all kinds of problems with the interpretations that are gleaned from the Bible by those who read it. We must awaken to the potential and reality of who we ARE! Continue reading ‘Rancid Religious Rites’

Children At Play!

Jesus laughed, he cried, and he PLAYED! Playing is what kids do well and it’s sadly also what most Christians do at all- or seldom! Dancing is for heathens. Having a glass of wine is the first step towards an eternal hell. And, going to a PARTY is a temptation to be avoided. So, isn’t it strange that JESUS attended parties and not only drank wine but MADE WINE? Continue reading ‘Children At Play!’

2012 Year Of Jubliee?

If ever there has been a ten thousand+ year old prophecy, it’s the December 21, 2012 winter solstice that dozens of indigenous cultures have written and carried as an oral tradition. Exactly what it means, and how civilizations like the Mayans and their infamous calendar, is subject to much debate. So, why not add yet another potentiality? Continue reading ’2012 Year Of Jubliee?’

Christofascism & Liberalism

Christianity in America is on a downward spiral. The GOOD NEWS is that Christianity is doing well in many other parts of the world. Church affiliation and attendance has been declining for nearly four decades now. People are no longer buying into the fear-mongering, intimidation through church discipline, nor the threat of hell. But then too, neither is mamby-pamby liberalism working! Continue reading ‘Christofascism & Liberalism’

The One Within

Luke 17:21 tells us that the Kingdom of God is within. Is that singular or plural? John 14:20 says that Jesus is in the Father, I am in Jesus and Jesus is in me. We are one….ALL of us are ONE. So, what’s all that say to YOU: realistically and practically?

Reincarnation Revisited

Simply put, we are a world literally divided: in many ways. The Occidental West is more exoteric and exclusive. The Oriental East is more esoteric and inclusive. More radically yet, the West believes we have to attain perfection in ONE run through life where the East believes we have MULTIPLE runs through life to become perfected: can you say REINCARATION? Continue reading ‘Reincarnation Revisited’

A God of Matter Doesn’t Matter

I used to think and see God as “out there” somewhere. I was taught that God was a physical being though not directly so. When I died I got to go to God’s home- heaven. I would live on streets of gold where there were many high rise condominiums (aka mansions). It was such a blissful approach to religion. Of course, religion and spirituality are two matters indeed. Continue reading ‘A God of Matter Doesn’t Matter’

Precognition Vs. Prediction

I have made a LOT of predictions and my success ratio is pretty dang good too. Each year I make PREDICTIONS for the New Year. And, usually I’ll get 70-80% right. No bragging here- just beginning to make a point. From time to time I also have a PRECOGNITION! And THOSE are more than EXCITING! :-) Continue reading ‘Precognition Vs. Prediction’

Enlightenment Before Ascension

Do we know what either enlightenment or ascension really is? William Blake wrote that “Enlightenment is taking full responsibility for our life”. In the ‘blame-shifting’ world and environment within which we currently live, is enlightenment possible? Who even suggests that ascension is possible? Let’s take a closer look. Continue reading ‘Enlightenment Before Ascension’
