I’m not done with this topic, but I’ve got other things more burning within me now, so I’ll end this series prematurely and come back to a few related subjects later on down the road. The central core or theme of this five-part series is simply that the church has taken the wrong road. The church has camped in the valley of sin instead of living on the mountain of love. Religion has exponentially increased the list of “dos and dont’s” (sins), and then claimed that it alone had the power and process with which to eradicate us from our dark souls. But, the process would take forever which meant all mankind needed to live in the shadow of the church each and every week, doing penance, and performing works found pleasing to the pastor, priest, or minister.
God is LOVE and God is LOVER! That is all we need embrace.
God’s not out to “get anyone“. God is not working throughout history, with every living soul, by way of coercion. And in the end it is not His JUSTICE that mankind has violated. Our sins and our sinning (those many specific acts) is not what has separated us from God (as a primal cause), but our not loving Him, and thus not able to even love ourselves, let alone others. And therein is all that life is.
The church needs to quit hammering on the God as Judge (who must sentence you to something, anything): one who is out to administer the law and in the end sentence all those wayward souls to an eternal hell. No, God is a LOVER! And love will never fails (I Cor. 13:8), nor does love ever come to an end. Never! Neither in this third dimensional life, nor the fourth dimension particularly, where all accounts are settled- in love!
The transformational journey that we are all on is to move from selfishness and lovelessness (in whatever limitations), to accepting God’s love and being that love to others. His love will eventually bring us ALL into wholeness: now or later. We are created IN HIS IMAGE! Remember the 1st chapter of Genesis?
It may take a lifetime and maybe after that to begin to BE (that). However, love wins in the end (eis telos). There will ultimately be a time and palce wherein we see that His love is so, so great that we cannot hold out. We willingly submit to His love without giving an inch of our free will because finally we realize that His love is all we’ve ever needed or wanted.
Come on church, let’s BE the love that God IS!

There isn’t any other WAY He wants us to BE!!!
