# 5- The Garden Revisited

Okay, enough already!

If there is a core message (and there are many) in the second creation story which according to experts was written around 1,000BCE whereas the creation story in Genesis 1 was written 500 years later (500BCE). For me, and this is a personal position that I take (and far more people down through history than you can imagine as well), the so-called FALL of man is summed up in three words or concepts: separation, belief in two powers, and limitation. Let’s review it.

We are to be ONE! That’s the message behind the message in Genesis 2 and 3.

In the New Testament the message that Jesus brought is that we are ONE with God.

Body and soul work together as ONE unit. My body cannot do what my soul (mind) does not dictate.

Subscribing to two powers (good……………and evil), instead of one power caused SEPARATION and immediately built in many limitations (sweat of the brow and pain in child birth as an example). And then we find this very interesting verification in Genesis 2:10-14. In the garden there was ONE river!
But, when the river left the garden, it parted into FOUR rivers. You can read the names and for each there is a symbolism that I’m not that interested into reviewing for this train of thought that I’ve been in this week.

How can we regain that ONENESS that we had in the Garden, in Paradise?

PRAYER! MEDITATION! CONTEMPLATION!

Our healing and our restoration to the ONENESS that is the Christ Consciousness comes each time we pray in earnest (that’s not me y’all). When we join our spirits to God, when we co-create with Him, and when we submit our lives to being His life here on earth- now we’re talking SALVATION! When we live the mind of Christ, we are beginning to overcome the limitations of belief in two powers.

It doesn’t come easy and it takes constant care and attention. But what greater thing can you do in life?

Let’s get ON with it (Him)!
