I am sure that you’ve heard someone say, “If I were God I wouldn’t do it that way.”
That’s probably why you’re not God, if our view of God is that Shes OMNISCIENT
If we take the assumption that we’re ETERNAL, then what were we before we got here on planet earth? And since we’re here for just a couple decades, where will we be after that? As everything is, we’re ENERGY which best we know it cannot be destroyed, just transformed.
So, why did we need to come this route, pass though this dimension, and experience all the traumas that this earth shares with us? I’m speaking of earthquakes, tsunamis, murder, rape, diseases, and ultimately death of some form or another.
Of course the answers will come from one of two paradigms. Most of the Occidental world believes we get ONE pass through this dimension while most of the Oriental world believes we get MULTIPLE chances to live here on the third rock from the sun. One is enough for me!
Regardless of you East-West view, what’s the plan Stan?
Do we believe as the Open Theists (in part) that God wants to “experience life” through us or is this life here some sort of a test? Regardless of our answers, can we be assured that any of us have the correct approach? Me thinks not; however, the one point I do believe is valid is that we’re here to LOVE regardless of religion, philosophy, or cultural environment.
I am not sure about the one pass or multiple chances. All I know is what is now and experiencing each other is experiencing Source, God, Energy. I have read book after book about being in the now and being one. What I have come to the conclusion is this. When I focus my attention on a person or people i am with at the moment, not put a label on them, or not judge, etc. I can enjoy the person or group in any situation. I have experienced this the past few days. If I focus on this then I guess I don’t have to worry about a one pass or multiple pass life/lives. Good post.
