Just seeing the word causes one to rapidly keep right on reading, skip over it, or ignore it altogether. Who needs adversity in their life? We all do and studies have shown that those with a high AQ will do far better in life than those with a high IQ. Here’s why.
AQ, (Adversity) IQ, (Intelligent) and EQ (Emotional) are all necessary to living a whole and peaceful life; however, AQ comes with the highest price tag. It’s so much easier to just study, read, and absorb as a means of increasing your IQ.
We Christians like to talk about the transforming power of the cross; however, too often it’s from an observer position, not a participant. But it is when we turn obstacles into opportunities that we’re truly engaged in the game of life and living. It’s not what happens to us as much as it is as to how we respond to what comes down our street.
Everything in life can be handled in two ways. Will you, will we,learn from it or will we have to replay it again? For 50 years, the Israelites wandered around in the desert. How many times are you going around some of the all too familiar mountains? Will whatever comes our way leave us bitter or better?
