All The World Is A Stage

I wasn’t and still aren’t a fan of Shakespeare; however, he was good at what he did. We are BODY, SOUL, and SPIRIT and we could functionally put it this way. The environment that surrounds us is the STAGE upon which we perform. Some need to change studios. It’s just not working for them. You can’t grow watermelons in Greenland. And that outfit that you’re wearing isn’t appropriate for this play- if you know what I mean. If not, read on.

The costume that you are wearing, the make-up, and the personality that you are “playing” on this stage called life, is your BODY. What I just said in another way, is that what you look like and how you are coming across isn’t the REAL you: that would be your SPIRIT! :-)
Can you tell the difference between the two?

Paul said it. We are both human and divine.

We have two identities; however, if we play the “part” too long we can wind up with an identity crisis. Hello! We all need a director, coach, guide, spiritual dad to help us through the maze and tell us how to play the part and yet when the show is over, and we come off stage, we know who we really ARE and we we easily fall into the life.

Richard Rohr put it this way. He said he (as we all do) get an ego rush when we are before a crowd and we’re helping them be better people: we’re getting applause and strokes from the crowd. But, when we walk off the stage, the Richard Rohr who communes with God like we all do and must is resurrected.

Enough ego!

How’s the current production (play) working for you?
