Too much of our prayer life is wasted because we’re praying FOR something that we already HAVE. If we can comprehend the omnipresence of of the Creator and tie that to NOW living, we’ll soon discover what Eccl. 3:5 is saying. The purpose of prayer is to to get somewhere or something but to be AWARE that we already have it.
Neville Goddard was big on the awareness awakening concept. His approach led many to see his methods as new age; however, the movement within which he lived was called New Thought. If there is anything the religious community of America needs, it some new thinking!
>We need to move from thinking that God is out there to He’s here and everywhere.
>We need to rethink penal substitution and see that God’s not blood thirsty or violent.
>We need to think of God love and not a God who sends what He created to an eternal hell.
>We need to think GOOD NEWS!
All of the above and so much more is based around an awakened awareness as to who we are, what we’re to become, and how many gifts are ours but left unopened. Richard Rohr in his great little book entitled “Everything Belongs” nailed it when he wrote, ” We cannot attain the presence of God because we’re already totally IN the presence of God. What’s absent is awareness.”
Bingo!
The incarnation began 2,000 years ago; however, the incarnation is on-going and is NOW.. It’s in the spirit of the Christ that we live, we move, and we have our being. May we awaken to that awareness in such a magnificent way our lives become transformed. Being ONE (in awareness) is much different than intellectually confessing oneness but living separate. Are you serious about realizing what it IS that we NOW HAVE in Him?
So, whatcha going to to differently NOW- as a result?

I am living a life filled with more peace, more love than at any time in my 62 years. I like this post. My journey thru Neville continues.
Me 2!
