God bless everyone in the world which includes the hundreds millions of Catholics!
I say that because it seems to me that of all the religions in the world, Catholicism has been the best and the most prolific are hiding the truth. God only knows what’s being kept from the world or what’s being promoted that’s not true. It’s a long list of what I’d call crimes, but judge for yourselves.
1-The Popes of the Dark Ages were known as some of the most crazed, corrupt, and cancerous individuals on the faced of the earth engaging in every manner of immoral and illegal activities.
2-The Catholic Church stood for the geocentric world concept (vs. heliocentric) and ex-communicated or imprisoned those that adhered to such. It took the Church 411 years to finally admit that they were wrong and to apologize to Newton, Copernicus, and others.
3-The Catholic Church scandalized Mary Magdalene by painting her as a prostitute until 1989 when they finally admitted they was wrong!
4-The Catholic Church has engaged in a 2,000 year cover up of the major role of James The Righteous, brother of Jesus, because of the collateral damage it would do to the virgin Mary, and maybe just maybe, one day they’ll drop the virgin Mary paradigm though that would totally destroy Catholicism.
The above reminds me of an event that took place in Scotland this week (not a Catholic Church story) when a Scottish church has voted to allow the singing of hymns and playing of musical instruments for the first time in 160 years. The Free Church of Scotland, which split from the Presbyterian Church of Scotland in 1843, currently only allows unaccompanied psalm singing during public worship.
One seemingly sane person reported-
“There are few of us who believe it is sinful to sing hymns … If worship in other (churches) is acceptable to God how can it be unacceptable in our church?” one supporter of the move told the assembly, according to the church’s website. “Many of us love to quote from hymns. I can speak a hymn, but if I ask you to sing it it is unacceptable?”
Church transformation! Woo Hoo!
