Politicians and many church pastors are finding out what Jesus discovered 2,000 years ago. Jesus had to go OUTSIDE the GATES (can you say walls of the church) in order to talk to people. The Pharisees were simply too religious to handle. It looks like nothing has changed because both McCain and Obama have found their chrurches and their pastors to be liabilities! Sad!

Unfortunately pastor, ministers, and priests are like judges in a court room. They RULE!

And as a result of such an environment, it’s easy to sit with the four walls of a church and talk about Catholics as being the “whore church“, or as Israel following a false god, and so on. It’s easy for a black pastor to rail on the white culture and condemn white America for how blacks have been oppressed. It sells in the church!

It bombs in the light of day- when facing TRUTH!

John Hagee’s rants against Catholicism came to light after John McCain had spoken so eloquently of the minister. But once he heard some of the views that had been preached, he refused to accept Hagee’s support. And now the two have gone their separate ways.

We’ve heard all about the burden’s carried by Barack Obama because of the tirades by Jeremiah Wright. There are several other examples, but the point is clear. The church and it’s leaders need to quit pandering to the base beliefs of prejudices and self righteousness and come into the light and preach from the podium what could be preached to the open world!

It’s time for the church and their leadership to come out of their religious and denominational closets and share the GOOD NEWS with the world. Enough of the bias and prejudicial news.
