Claiming Not Begging!

I’ve gone from please to thank you! I feel better and I’m more confident about my prayer life because I’m seeing more results. THANK YOU is a prayer of affirmation, a response of gratitude, and a sense of “it is finished”. Too many prayers are steeped in doubt, uncertaintiy, and disbelief- more a flavor of begging than claiming.

I’m not talking about some glorified make-over of “name it and claim it” paradigm.

Too many begin by praying to a God out there! Out there where? Just where does this God reside out there? If you think there’s a God “out there” somewhere, you’re praying to a God that doesn’t exist. God is omnipresent. So he can’t be some “where”, but everywhere, unless you really don’t believe that God’s not omnipresent.

So, what’s your thinking when you pray to this God that’s in you, around you, about you, and everywhere? To be conscious of being poor while praying for success puts one behind the eight ball before you get to the table to take a shot.

We need to operate from that which we ARE, not from that which we SEE!

It’s too easy to live life and petition prayers based on what se SEE in our physical environment rather than going WITHIN to discover who we really ARE. There’s a reason that Jesus said twhen you PRAY, go within, go to your closet- and He wasn’t talking about soem clothes closet off the bedroom. He was talking about going within your spirit. Finding the I AM that we ARE and thnking God for the great gifts that our Creator gives.

Remember, all GOOD gifts come from within- the Kingdom of God is within- not without. But, one cannot CLAIM who they ARE until they know who the Creator IS. Therein is the challenge of all prayer- KNOWING GOD!

  • This is absolutely the truth – but the key is consistently remembering who we truly are. We just forget our truth. We are not who we see in the mirror. We are not an accumulation of past mistakes nor present problems. We are the physical, flesh & blood embodiment of LOVE. Love is all there is, and love is all you need…

A simple mantra to consider: All that I will ever need, I already AM.

  • We have been so drugged with the religious opiate that we fight even the God within us that IS.
