Or another possible title would be, let your little light shine.
So, how does one do that?
Meditate! Be still. Listen.
As long as were are about being BUSY with STUFF, it’s like throwing mud on a diamond. In order to clean the diamond (the real you), we have to chip away at mud which has hardened for decades in some cases. Mud of course is a metaphor, as is the diamond.
Mud translates into: anger, envy, hatred, jealousy, disappointments, unmet expectations, betrayal, etc. I like how Sophy Burnham puts it, “Only you can clean the JEWEL of your own soul and lift your vibration.” There’s the key. Dropping down into the lower brain vibrations of Theta and Delta actually raises the consciousness FREQUENCY that can shatter a glass.
Even mud!
Hey, it’s a holiday weekend, take a break and chip away!
This reminds me of a story Goldsmith often told, of a Hindu couple one day as they walked along a dusty trail. As they made their way, the husband noticed something lying on the ground in the distance, and he quickly advanced to retrieve it.
The wife, watching from behind as her husband began to dust off the mysterious object, inquired, “What is it you have found?”
He turned around to reveal to her a majestic diamond, glistening in the sun. The wife, nearly aghast, brazenly questioned him. “What have you done?”, she asked. “Don’t you see that the dust you just removed from this prized jewel is just as important as the jewel itself?”
Yep- It’s ALL God, but some of “that god” has greater value in this dimension than others.
Sorta like Folgers and Starbucks. Know what I mean Gene?
Did someone say Starbucks??!
You mean you’re not THERE NOW? -:)
There’s nothing dusty about my vente iced vanilla latte!
