If you’re still uncomfortable with the term-concept of consciousness, then insert the word SPIRIT everywhere I use it. In fact, to help you with the transition into the mystical realm of things not seen, I will insert that word for you this time. Since consciousness is a relative new word, let me give you the most simple definition that I can: one that I borrowed from Walter Starcke, “Consciousness (spirit) is an invisible picture of who you really are”.
We need to perceive the subjective nature of man and things before we evaluate the objectiveseen part of what IS. That’s Biblical! Judge mo man by the flesh but by the spirit (consciousness).
Let’s take the twin goals of health and wealth!
Health is not the status of your BODY, but the result of your consciousness (spirit). If you have God’s consciousness (spirit), you’re also going to have a body that responds therefrom. Remember, there are no absolutes, no perfection here in the third dimension, but life will go so, so much better with His Consciousness (Spirit).
Genetics does play a role in our health. 
Wealth is not a matter of your bank account or net worth, but a matter of your consciousness (spirit). This is almost too easy to understand isn’t it! But understanding and BEING (living) are certainly not the same.
Our “Quest for Transformation” is a journey to become ONE with the God’s Consciousness (Spirit). Increasingly making the overlap more unified.

I’m curious how genetics play a role in our spiritual consciousness health. Since genes are part of the material world, and we are not children of our father, but rather children of our Father. It seems that our spiritual ‘genetic code’ would or should override our material genetic code, would it not? Just wondering, for example – if a child born with Downs Syndrome has to remain in that state, or if our family has a history of cancer or heart disease, are we doomed to die an early death? Because there is no cancer, heart disease (or any disease, for that matter) in the spirit/consciousness realm, is there? Just wondering.
As I see it, and much of life will always remain mysterious, while I don’t
believe we are born IN SIN, AS SIN (the theological concept), we are
born into the universal environment (can you say genes?) that has
become polluted. And while some individuals are incapable of “healing
themselves” do to their non-elevated level of consciousness, the
COMMUNITY can step in and do it for them……….unless the community
doesn’t believe (which is where we find ourselves currently). And that is
where I am focusing and trying to get-build.
