Danger Dressed In Righteous Robes

I am really cautious as I begin to express my thoughts in this commentary. I pray that I will be able to convey the truth in love. Somewhere, somehow we just have to end this madness of “right and wrong”. Dualism doesn’t serve anyone well. Depending upon ones level of consciousness (I’ll address this in my Feb. 16th message, with Pocast available Feb. 19), what is right and what is wrong can vary as night does with day.
The insane killing and revenge upon revenge that has come to characterize Slavic Europe and the Middle East is “exhibit A“. But, let’s look at the danger here at home, in our own living rooms.

Let me state up fron that every religion, every one, has their fringes that are so far from the mainstream that they really look like an entirely different religion all together. That said, Islam is being presented to the world stage as a religion that is being hi-jacked by it’s fringes- the most radical of radicals who live to die and take others with them as they detonate their belts.

Help us Holy Spirit!

Wherever the moderate Muslims are, they’re being intimidated and silenced to a lage degree by the fanatical side who in this quest for jihad have contaminated the Islamic gene pool.

Regardless of religion, the more dualistic the creed or beliefs, the more dangerous the followers. The more black and white, the more right and wrong, the more US vs. THEM (straight vs. gay is a biggie in America these days), the more killings there are.

It seems we learned nothing from the Crusades. The seemingly (what is righteousness?) extreme righteous are the most dangerous because of their radical perception (theirs of course- not yours, or ANYONE else) of their truth aided by an indifference to moral violence.

Can you say burning witches as an example?

Can you say “egocentric extremism and irrationality“?

Lest we forget God is LOVE! His message is grace and forgiveness. I need it, so I also give it- to ALL! And I keep one eye open at all times for the modern-day Pharisees. They’re still here just in case a modern-day Jesus shows up. They’ll crucify Him again.

Help us to love and forgive ALL-everyone Father!
