Discovering God life will change your world! And the Spirit is calling us to now discover your strength in Jesus. NOW! Eckhart Tolle may seem like a New Ager; however, his calling us to live in the NOW, the present, is nothing more than a restatement of Eccl. 3:15. Unfortunately, too many groups have made discovering God nothing more than an intellectual exercise. Too many fundamentalists are more interested in proving the Bible as literal than they are in showing God’s compassion.
Discovering God will forever change who you are! The Bible is not a book, but a library of books about the spiritual evolution of humanity. Christian fundamentalists want us to focus on literal factuality and in the process miss completely the journey that it is. Proving (or attempting to) that the Bible is literal is nothing but an intellectual assessment that in the end proves nothing!
We need the Bible for more than an intellectual understanding!
The Bible is far more, and at the same time, far less than an historical or scientific book.
The Bible is a SPIRITUAL book of books and we can only comprehend its depth spiritually! Only the God IN US can recognize the God that IS! We cannot reach God with our MIND. We need to use the faculties of brain, mind, will, etc.; however, mind alone can never discover God! NEVER!
