How many times have you been told that? How many times have you seen that in operation? And how many times have you violated that rule. I can say the response MANY to all three questions. This principle goes against the grain of our humanhood. This principle is also a lot more difficult to do than just turning a blind eye or looking away. Much more difficult!
One is to not judge the “appearances” because they are temporal, mis-leading, not real, and harmful to our health. Literally!
The end game in football is not to rack up yardage but to score. The end game in this principle is to see and envision the presence of the I AM in everyone. It’s there because the I AM put it there, created it, and IS there all the time. This principle givers one the ability to see the perfection that is God even in the midst of obvious evil- even hell-like circumstances.
Here’s where it becomes harmful to your health to do otherwise.
To judge by appearances only is to deny yourself any possibility of entering into the fullness of the promises of God. That doesn’t mean you’ll live a life of hell, nor go to hell (at least not eternally). It also means that when ill health befalls you, you’re absent the power to see health. When you get down to it, and this is a bit deep, our day, our week, and our life is simply the OBJECTIFICATION of what we think to be TRUE of God.
If I can’t find beauty or presence in my own consciousness, I surely can’t out-picture it in my life.
