Jesus said that he was leaving the disciples and going to prepare a place for them and they wondered if he meant the Marriott or Holiday Inn. Jesus said in His Father’s house there were many mansions, and they envisioned something opulent in heaven unlike what they had on earth. Those were metaphors. Let’s take a stab at what they stood for.

Jesus begins His ministry with the message that the KINGDOM was at hand, “Repent for the kingdom of God is here.” Change your thinking, go beyond where the mind has travelled, because it’s about to be a new day. Jesus is going to show the world and whole new insight to life. Can you say eternal life, life after death, and a whole lot more?

Behold I go to prepare a NEW CONSCIOUSNESS for you!

That’s the message!

You see, we’ve seen life (and most still do) as a here and now with the promise of heaven of we’re good little boys and girls. Jesus was saying through all of his miracles and life, look! Look! This is how lfie is done. Go WITHIN and attach yourself to the Father-Consciousness: there is where all the miracles are found. The mind can do great things; however, make a fork bend isn’t quite as exciting as making the blind see.

Those mansions are “levels of consciosuness” as well.

Jesus was saying, watch me, immulate me, and follow me. Do as I do which is as the Father does, says, and IS. Get out of the material, external, and dualistic thinking. We are SPIRIT! We were created in the IMAGE (can you imagine?) of Father-Consciousness. Let’s act like it!
