This is a follow up comment on yesterday’s post on God Is Love- Hell Is Not post. I received several emails on the unique title “Heaven’s Guardian Gate“: most misunderstanding it. A paradigm shift will do that! The title comes from an insight that Christopher Bache had that resembles my “divine judgment” approach to hell. Christians seldom see an association of heaven with the gates of hell. In fact, those are opposites in most people’s minds. If there is an astral hell, (and I so comprehend such), then it is not so much about DAMNATION as it is about spiritual transformation. Ponder that one as you prepare to read more.

Hell is thus the last step in God mopping up, burning off, or final cleansing before we enter the divine realm. That would apply to ALL of us: even the righteous, unless I am reading II Corinthians 5:10 wrong. I am still amazed at parents who want their kids told about a LITERAL HELL that has no end! It’s as IF you tell kids there is divine judgment that’s not enough of a big stick to scare kids into being good.

It’s never worked before. What makes us think it’ll work now?

And since an eternal literal hell isn’t Biblical to start with, why preach such heresy?

It’s the TRUTH that sets us FREE!

Did you know that our free will and our ability to make mistakes is one of the things that makes us so precious to the Creator. Instead of HELL being the eternal resting place where we’re facing the wrath of an unforgiving God (of those who rejected Him while on earth in this third dimension), HELL is just the last stage in our spiritual development and transformation that prepares us for eternity with Abba Father, God, Creator, or the I AM!

Thus HELL is the GATE that guards HEAVEN from our imperfections.

Christopher Bache describes it this way, “As we draw near to the source of our existence, to that from which we originally came and in essence always ARE, we approach it as a small FLAME drawing close to a large FIRE. Fire merges with fire effortlessly, but due to our history, our fire-nature has partially crystallized into the constricted patterns of fragmented consciousness.”

Because our history is a record of our life in this third dimension (spacetime), the dross that is burned away (remember Malachi?) purifies us that we might be ONE with “the eternal flame” of God!

Thus, hell is not heaven’s opposite, but the guardian at the door of heaven which heals everything- heals all! And that’s why the book of Revelation speaks of “fire and brimstone” because brimstone is sulfur, which heals burns.

One caution now. God is LOVE and we’ll ALL be with our Creator one day, but don’t abuse the grace, because that amount of fire is predicated on the history of our lives lived out him in spacetime. God is still JUST: just not sadistic!

Brings a whole new light to “storming the gates of hell” now doesn’t it!
