Is there anything more fundamantal (but fundamentals seems to miss it) than the fact that God FORGIVES, is FORGIVING, is MERCIFUL,and always gives UNCONDITIONAL LOVE? I don’t know why this is so hard unless you’ve been taught that God is mercifulless and into torment without restoration. But even with that given- THINK!

Better yet, don’t think- just KNOW (God)!

The Son, Jesus, (God incarnate) who tells us to FORGIVE 70 x 7, which isn’t a literal 490x, isn’t asking us to do something more than abba Father does! Why is this so hard? Why do we want un-ending retribution and an eternal hell to scare us into following such a diety? Tell me why!

His grace is amazing!

Additionally, the death of Jesus isn’t what enabled God to forgive. The death of Jesus didn’t change God’s mind about us, but I hope it changes our mind about God. Jesus LIVES and we live eternally as well. Now, that is GOOD NEWS (unless you want some meritocracy formula- and we do). Phillip Gulley said it so well, “God has never sought our destruction, but our completion. Jesus wasn’t born to die. But, He came to teach us to LIVE! Jesus didn’t die to appease and angry God. Instead He came to proclaim a God of LOVE (and forgiveness).”

Oh YEAH! That’s MY GOD (and yours- all of us). Do you need to change some of your views of God?

Rejoice in the loving eternality of ALL that God created! Again I say REJOICE!

Jesus experienced the profound intimacy with God and that’s the purpose for all of us. We, especially men, have a difficulty with that word- intimacy. It’s time we got over it, man-up, estrogen-up, and get on with the reality of our one-ness. LOVE is the answer that leads to FORGIVENESS. I AM! I AM FORGIVEN! And, so are you. Now whatcha gonna do with that?

Isn’t that life’s only question?
