We read Romans 5:20 and then live as though we hadn’t. God is greater than anything we’re facing. God’s divine love is inexhaustible. His power is more than adequate to handle any and all situations. The problem lies at our feet and our choices not to accept this love. Note, I stayed away from saying “believing“, which has so many misconceptions. Using a trite phrase, “You haven’t see anything yet”.
For me, a miracle is not the abolition of a natural law, or a temporary suspension of it, but the LOVE of God being ramped up a notch. Did I say that I thought LOVE heals? Yep!
Think about it.
If God is love and in God there can be no sin, no weakness, nor any maladies, then what other conclusion could you draw? Man has accepted the teaching that (consciously or unconsciously) that we’re separated from that LOVE. Sure we say God is love, we even preach God is love, but then we go back to living life as though He’s still OUT THERE somewhere, and we’re DOWN HERE. So, we pray for Him to come VISIT us and take care of whatever problem we’re in need of being fixed. All the while He’s already HERE!
Where can God NOT BE? Tell me, where is God NOT?
God is not the “unmoved mover“.
God is more than the “first cause”
God is greater than “theistic” (out there), much more!
God is active and involved in the whole of His creation. I won’t want to get too poetic or even sentimental, but as I write this, sitting on my patio, listening to the water cascade down my St. Francis Of Assisi waterfall, I see Him all around me. In the plants, the flowers, the leaves, the white rocks, the grey stones, the blue sky, the power-white clouds, the red hair on the three golden retrievers, the baisal in the potted plants, and in the breeze that cools my forehead.
Mostly though, I know that each breath that I take, is His! As the prophet has said, He’s closer than my very breath, I am He and He is I. I AM. We ARE. It- ALL IS!
Personally so as well!
