God Loved Them All

As I sat in my “out door get away” today, I was hearing lots of things. Three dogs were seeing how loud they could bark a few houses away. Birds would come from time to time to inhabit the trees over my “hideout” until they would spot one of my movements, and then they too moved- away! It’s was cooler than I thought and as I was wrapping my arms around me, I HEARD something else.

Questions!

Who Wants Cheaper Insurance?

You know when God is speaking to you, if you’ve ever listened on any regular basis. By the way, He is still speaking today. I know much of the world is of the opinion that all He ever had to say is in the Bible. What a difficult journey life has to be in that box, And I’m not going to be distracted by the thought that ran through my head as I typed this (and look at some of the stuff that He didn’t say that IS in the Bible). I digress.

“Why were there twelve tribes“?

That was the question as I crossed my arms, seeking somehow to keep the cold out and the warmth in. I of course have an intellectual answer, a religious one, and the spiritual one. Let me guess, you want the spiritual answer right? Well, this is what I spoke back to Him hoping it was what He was looking for. And then again, I believe it was a confirmation of the word that He’s given me for Sunday : For All Audiences!

You know that God wants everyone to believe Him, and to love Him! He doesn’t want anyone to be left out of an eternal life with Him. Yes, I believe in a hell! He has created us all differently. Not a one is exactly like another. And knowing some as we do, that’s certainly reassuring! The twelve tribes were all different. But they all came together around the tabernacle (God) in the wilderness. They were free to disagree, have differing opinions, exercise weird lifestyles, make mistakes, see life differently, and yet God loved them ALL!

Did YOU…………….HEAR……. that?
