Most people will be glad to see the year 2008 end; however, 2009 has many ominous possibilities. Will Obama and his economic team be able to turn a sour financial environment into something sweet? Will war and rumors of war subside or escalate? Are we moving closer to a 2012 era or enlightenment or catastrophic global warming consequences? It all depends upon whether we WAKE UP or not!
It will be a happy new year………..if!
There are two principles found in the Hebraic Scriptures, more commonly called the Old Testament, that apply to all mankind regardless of religion. If we as a collective whole can increasingly accept and practice those principles it will indeed by a happy new year for most. There are always exceptions of course.
Principle numero uno is that we come to the realization that we are deceived, living under a series of illusions, and that we’re hemmed in by a matrix or veil that keeps us from seeing the truth (Is. 25:7). We need to SEE MORE CLEARLY. We need to look beyond the appearances and the physical manifestations that our five senses compute for us and open up to the spirit being that we are.
The second principle arises out of the first as we begin to truly SEE the TRUTH of who we are because we start to KNOW more about the Creator who created us. This sounds so fundamental and yet we’re so busy with “doing stuff” that we don’t have time to BE: who we are. This principle is found in the book of Job. Job’s life was in a great downward spiral to say the least. But then he awoke, removed the veil from his eyes, and saw beyond the matrix and five senses- into the spirit realm.
Job 42:5 reads, “I have spoken of God that which I knew not. I had heard things with my ears, but now I SEE.” Bingo!
May we AWAKEN in 2009 to the truth, the spiritual realities of life, and shake off the illusions of appearances- the grave clothes of distortion, and therein make 2009 truly a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
HAPPY is the word for the hour, the year if we will allow it to be. Our focus on the meditation of our heart, our internal dialogue will depict the end result of 2009 for not only ourselves but for our collective, as we are all connected. It is my duty even though I do not like that word. let me say it is my joy to bring into the collective an attitude of gratitude and expectancy of love and light and abundance inspite of what is being fed to us by the nedia. Which by the way we had better learn to ignore if we are indeed going to see this happiness in the year ahead. Jessie used to sing this song ” I Choose Joy which was written by Larnel Harris. That song was ahead of it’s time. We wake up every morning with a choice and we can choose joy. The little ones who look to us for guidance will pick up on our attitude and it will be like a ripple in the stream of our world.
The old adage “do as i say not as i do” does not work for this generation, actually it did not work for past generations but we were too afraid to speak up. This generation will challenge us. Where is this faith in God you speak of, why are you crumbling when the tough stuff confronts you. Change the channel or frequency on the radio, because there is always a reason to find happiness if we truly believe that we are loved, that God is love and everything works together for our good. Happy New year to all and may the Joy of the Lord truly be our strength.
