No you’re not!
You, I, and everything in the universe and beyond is more than what appears. Within each of us is a divine light, nature, and substance (to quote a Nicean Creed argument). We are eternal which means that we WERE before we became HUMANS. And, that holds true if you believe that we get ONE PASS through this world or many (reincarnation).
The source of the statement, “I’m only human” is a cop out!
Once upon a time and in a religious consciousness I would attribute that statement to the devil. You know that mysterious dude in red leotards, etc. It would fall under the Revelation 12:10 “Accuser of the brethren” belief system.
The truth of the matter is that it’s just a self-condemnation perspective (cop out). It’s an EGO attempt to draw some PITY from whomever will listen: and many do. Generally it comes from too much time spent in the pews listening to one sermon after another on our unworthiness!
Don’t accept it!
God is said to have asked Adam and Eve in the garden, who told you that you were naked? Who, tell me who? Who has told you that you’re unworthy, that you are naked, and that you should be ashamed? As then, so too now: we’ve told ourselves all of those lies. Isn’t it time to quit lying to ourselves?
We are DIVINE. Yes, we are human too; however, to profess that we are ONLY human is to accept a LIE! You do know that don’t you?
