It’s Not Too Late

It’s a new time for whomsoever is interested!

God is always offering us a new deal, a “do over”, or a “make good” opportunity. We seldom think we need one. Who has time for a personal awakening to spiritual realities? People are just trying to catch up on their credit cards so they can buy more stuff to put in the storage shed they’ve been leasing.

And while we continue going about doing more and more, there is that emptiness of soul or purpose that we feel from time to time, especially late at night as we fall into bed wondering how we’ll make it through tomorrow on only 5 hours of sleep.

Who Wants Cheaper Insurance?

Fewer and fewer things seem to satisfy!

Relationships seem to be more and more difficult to hold together. Some just fall apart completely and with them go years of emotional investment, and shared memories. For what? Why?

Why are we so afraid to respond to His Spirit? What do we have to lose that we can’t do without? I know. It is scary to think about going where we’ve never been before. Ancient cartographers would draw pictures of dragons and monsters on places that were unknown, unchartered. They called these places “terra incognita“- unknown territory.

It’s where I’ve been visiting, exploring, and living the last two years.

I have been able to be sustained in this foreign land because the Father is with me. The attacks, the fears that play with my mind about this or that, are overcome because I know the Father and I are One- as Jesus did. I am realizing that more than being “born again” at the age of seventeen, I am truly being born again as a process, day by day.

I am not separated from Jesus! God dwells within me!

It’s not too late. You can always begin again, start over, regardless of age, placement in life, or circumstances. The “thief on the cross” should remind and assure you of that. And here’s more GOOD NEWS. Last week I heard Him say to me that if we’re willing, He can reduce twenty years of normal learning and experiencing into only two years.

You game, willing?
