We run from pillar to post looking for the keys to the Kingdom. We travel to Tibet to climb a mountain to there meet this guru that will tell us exactly how to cross our legs and sit for the best meditative pose. We? How about “I” who traveled to Toronto a decade agao to get a blessing? Having done that, I would have been better off to have visted a statue or Mary with weeping eyes of blood in Mexico. I’m done with all of that.
Jesus is the answer!
Jesus was the Son of man, the Son of God, the Messiah, the normal man who lived an abnormal life and therein was the exact representation of God (Heb. 1:3). I can do nothing better than to try and BE as Jesus was.
His acts were God’s acts working through Him because He sought the Father and had that special relationship. I love how A.T. Robinson put it. “Jesus is unique because He alone of all mankind of whom we have eny external evidence or internal experience was truly normal.” Makes it hard for us to come up with excuses doesn’t it. 
Jesus embodied the relationship with God for which man was created. He was not a man doing human things divinely, but a man doing divine things humanly.
