Mistaken Identity?

For too long I though I was someone that I wasn’t. It’s both interesting and disappointing that it took so long for me to figure out that I was living with a false identification. My drivers license picture sure looked like me, albeit a few years younger. Do you know WHO you ARE?

“The meaning of your life depends upon which IDEAS you permit to USE you. WHO you think you ARE determines where you put your attention. Where you direct your attention creates your life experiences, and brings a new course of events into being.” Gangaji

We are each telling a story- the supposed story of ME! I have MY story and yo have YOUR story. And, both yours and mine are not true; they do not depict who either of us really ARE. Coming to grips wit that reality and ditching the “mistaken identity” that almost all embrace is what Jesus called “Kingdom”.

I am not who I think I am.

Rene Descartes said, “Cogito, ergo sum“, or I think therefore I am. Could it be that I AM therefore I think? Or, maybe a deeper journey into the rabbit hole would reveal that, I think not and AM? Words just really get in the way of communicating at times

The greatest of all absurdities is to think that you are who you see in the mirror!

When we get quiet and still before the ALL and seek to find who I AM, we discover that the “I” is the story of ME! But that “story of me” is authored by my ego which stands apart and separate from my true nature and identity: the oneness of I AM.

Be still and know that I AM….God!

Do you SEE, are you HEARING, are you truly BEING?
