Move Those Mountains!

Is. 30:17 says (NIV), “A thousand will flee at the threat of one; at the threat of five you will all flee away, till you are left like a flagstaff on a mountaintop, like a banner on a hill.” What’s that mean?

Deuteronomy 32:30 says, “One man can chase a thousand, or two put ten thousand to flight….?

What’s going on here? Could it simply mean that two are better than one? I’ll discuss this in part Friday night as some new scientific data has been released in the last decade that brings some light to a three thousand year old principle. But, about all, it’s about INTENT!

Jesus said it! We can move mountains. Ah, but that was just a metaphor right?

Sophy Burnham writes, “We can no longer dispute that our intellect, desires, longings, and INTENTIONS affect even inorganic matter”. While most people would agree that we can impact the FUTURE, science has gone even further and demonstrated scientifically that we can indeed alter the PAST!

Whoa now there cowboy, You lost me on that one!

I know, it’s a difficult one to wrap your mind around. So, why don’t we do this instead. Why not just begin with one of those pesky little demons that irritate you like a mosquito. How about starting with an insect and then later work you way up an ant hill on the way to a mountain?

Whatcha think?
