Tis the season to be jolly and proclaim joy to the world and to remember who we ARE. We are ONE with our Creator-Spirit-Consciousness. So when Matthew 1:23 says that Jesus is to be called EMMANUEL, and we are joint heirs with him, our lives should be radically different than we’re living because if Emmanuel (God is with us) is our inheritance, no weapon formed against us can prosper.
God did not forsake Jesus on the Cross.
God will never forsake any of us as we are his creation, we are a part of him. Why that is so hard to get I can only guess is because we’ve been taught such a strong strain of reward-punishment that we’re brain washed. The GOOD NEWS is simply too good to be true. Grace is scandalous, and we feel we’d be better off back in Egyptian making bricks without straw.
But, the GOOD NEWS is exactly that- maybe even BETTER NEWS! The BEST NEWS.
God will never forsake us. He will never turn his back on us. Whatever void there is has been built by our own thinking. There is no separation. God is nothing but LOVE. The message that Jesus brought o us was vast in it’s implications but if there is a truth to the incarnation, it is that Jesus permanently repositioned God the Father from out there to in here- WITH US: Emmanuel!
Joy to the world for the Lord IS come. Is is a now present tense word.
Are you WITH HIM? God- Emmanuel IS WITH US!
