Say So!

What is it that you desire? I’m not talking about what you’d like, what you WISH you had, or what’s good for you but of no benefit to anyone else. I’m talking about Kingdom living. The writer of the book of Job makes it seem so simple- “DECREE a thing and it shall be ESTABLISHED” (Job 22:28). And the light shall shine on your ways.

I can’t tell you how many thigs I have DECREED that have not even come close to being established!

We’re not talking about some sort of news years resolution that you write down and then abandon before February rolls around. DECREE what it is that you are hearing in your HEART. What is your Spirit-man saying to you. Once you HEAR that VOICE speak- then SAY SO!

Let me remind you of a few principles herein.

>You don’t have to say so verbally, orally, out loud.
>You do have to BELIEVE which is more than an intellectual assent.
>You must SAY SO from there (where what you want IS) and not from HERE (where it’s not).
>You must not put any restrictions on WHEN or HOW. It’s about grace after all!
>You must LIVE in that moment to come NOW until you get a “release”.
>Then let it go and let it come in God’s timing.

When one is co-creating with God, you must allow the one who is greater to decide the gestation period. Horses take 11 months, humans 9 months, and chickens but 21 days, but don’t count them before they hatch!

Keep reminding yourself of Mark (11:24), “When praying, BELIEVE that you have RECEIVED.” No begging, no pretty please! Simply say THANK YOU!

Could we begin to “say so” knowing that we are already complete and whole vs. claiming so from a sense of incompletion and separation? I believe this is what Jesus meant when he directs us to ask these things in my name. We must ask (say so) with the full knowledge of who we are! Our prayer then becomes a song of gratitude!
