Seeking Truth Is A Good Thing

It’s amazing how the ego gets riled up and attacks when some belief it holds is challenged. When one asks a simple question like what did Jesus do for the other 85% of His life that the Bible doesn’t say anything about, there are usually two attitudinal responses. How dare you question the the Christian beliefs of Jesus. Or, no one knows for sure so let’s not go there. Well, I’m not questioning any beliefs by wondering what Jesus did from age 12-29. Nor, am I claiming to have 100% certainty about what some of those speculations portend that He did while a young adult. So, let’s begin with this.

In my early Christian journey I could not use any source material other than the Bible to discover the reality of Jesus. I hadn’t come to the place of maturity where I understood what that statement meant, It meant I couldn’t even rely upon my own intuitiveness. I couldn’t question. Questioning could cause me to fall into heresy!

Not questioning is HERESY!

I had heard “stories” about how Jesus spent 15-18 years in India, Tibet, and the Far East, but I would never pursue those stories. How could I? They weren’t in the Bible.

I have to admit that in the last three years, I’ve taken it upon myself to delve into the “possibilities” of what Jesus did and where He was. And I think I’m still saved! No demons are yet apparent, but maybe I’m into self deception and don’t know it (that is how that works right?).

As you can see, I am slowly working myself into the topic of this web site- that’s now centering on the Jesus we don’t know and aren’t sure of- historically. It’s not the WORDS that I type, but the SPIRIT of them. If I can get you there, we can go a little further down the rabbit hole.

Like a good reporter, I am going to use mutiple sources to back up my story. We’ll journey from ancient writers to Nicolas Notovich, to current day Elizabeth Clare Prophet and many others. There’s no secrets here- just prejudicial blindness!

So, I guess I am about ready to get into some details.

You ready? :-)
