July 23, 2006 – Jesus was a wisdom teacher among other things; however, he was not a conventional wisdom thinker. Jesus was a subversive wisdom advocate. He didn’t rest on Sunday, He healed on Sunday, He didn’t wash His hands before eating, and He ate with sinners and prostitutes. Worst of all, He said that prostitutes and tax collectors would inherit the Kingdom of God before the Pharisees did. What’s that do for your religious paradigm?
