As the four day holiday weekend comes to a close, I sit for my fourth night in a row, by my fireplace (outside), enjoying the cooler weather and grateful to God for a needed rest. Tomorrow, it will be time to go back at the things normal people do every week. They are normal aren’t they? Besides, the forecast for the next three days is rain. What have a I gleaned over the four days?
We need God!
God needs us as well.
He’s speaking to us all the time.
It’s only in silence that we hear Him.
Being still is very hard but pays dividends!
Our lives are much too comfortable for greatness.
If we’ll wait on the Lord His late actions are better.
I’m not a patient man, but I’m becoming more patient.
Life works so much better when you let God control your life.
I am most thankful and grateful that He’s not done with me yet.
