The 13th Floor

One of my favorite movies was the 1999 film entitled, The Thirteenth Floor.

The Thirteenth Floor ranks right there with the Matrix and Inception as I view it. The movie raises philosophical questions around technology and reality. It’s one of those unique films that crosses quite a few genres – intelligent sci-fi – murder mystery – film noir – thriller – love story.

In many skyscrapers and large builders there is no 13th floor!

Strangely, in the Christian Bible there are few metaphorical, allegorical, or deeply spiritual interpretations which is odd since it’s a book about the ultimate spiritual being- God! Yes, Paul uses the word (or at least we’ve translated him as such) allegory in Galatians 4:24, but most people fail to see or utilize the process beyond reading the word.

Many may not even know what the word means.

Until we come to see and interpret the STORIES of all ancient manuscripts as deeper and more broad than some historical event (which may or may not have happened) we’ll continue to flounder on the outskirts of our potential. Hebrews 11 is not about Abraham being sent from the land of Ur into a foreign land where God has built a physical city (Gen. 12 redux).

Historical or not the deeper truth is what matters.

God sent you and I from our celestial-cosmic home to this foreign land called earth. We’re told that we can inherit it; however, we have to do so living in this tent (our physical bodies) until we’ve discovered the consciousness (recouped the lost soul) and understanding of who we truly are!

We are not human beings, but spiritual beings and there is no 13th floor!  :-)

We are Light beings of LOVE!
