Since no human can define God, that which is finite can’t comprehend infinite, and because there are so many ideas and concepts of the divine, we are relegated to the use of METAPHORS!
So, let’s use one: the “Cog Wheel“. It’s an excellent picture, among many.
>There is on e ONE SOURCE: only one POWER!
>Everything, every person, all of humanity and creation, is tied to the Cog.
>The rim represents the cycles of life and while it appears that we are separate from our neighbor to the left and right, we are all united,
>As the wheel turns we each carry the weight on the world’s burdens.
We are all one and united with the Creator and creation. As Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, “Everything in nature contains all the powers of Nature. Everything is made of one hidden stuff”. And, we ARE that stuff. When the moment arrives that we get a glimpse of such, our life will never, ever be the same again.
